Location QR code
A location QR opens the map right at the point you picked, using coordinates instead of a written address. It works for all the places an address describes badly: a building's service entrance, a stall inside a fair, a venue on a highway, a country house, a meeting point in a park.
The difference from writing the address is that coordinates do not depend on the map's search engine interpreting text correctly. If your place is on a newly opened street, if the number is not listed, or if the map consistently drops you two blocks away, the exact point fixes the problem at the root.
Accepts links from Google Maps, Apple Maps and OpenStreetMap, or a pair of coordinates. You can also fill in the fields below by hand.

Paste the map link
Find the place on Google Maps and paste the link from the address bar here. The tool pulls the coordinates out on its own. It also accepts Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap, or a pair of coordinates copied with right-click.

Check latitude and longitude
They fill in automatically and stay editable in case you want to fine-tune the point. The more decimals you keep, the more precise it is: four decimals is already about ten metres.

The geo: format problem on iPhone
There is a standard for encoding a location in a QR: the geo: scheme followed by the coordinates. It is the technically correct format, and the one almost every generator uses. It has one large practical problem: Apple Maps does not open it. An iPhone scanning a geo: QR shows plain text with two numbers and no available action, which for someone standing in front of the sign is the same as a broken code.
That is why this tool generates a map link by default instead of the geo: scheme. It opens the right point on iPhone and Android, and both offer to start navigation. If you know your audience scans with Android, or you need the standard format for an integration, the switch lets you change it.
If you ever printed a location QR from another generator and were told "nothing happens on iPhone", this is almost always the explanation.
Coordinates or address: when to use which
A written address wins when the place is well indexed and the visitor knows the area: it is easier to remember, can be read out over the phone, and still works if the QR gets scuffed off. For a shop on a well-known street, the address is enough.
Coordinates win when the address does not exist, is ambiguous, or the map reads it wrong. Typical cases: a site on a highway with no street numbers, a stand inside a large exhibition centre, the supplier entrance of a building around the corner from the main door, a construction site, a campsite. In all of those, the address gets people close and the coordinates get them to the door.
Precision depends on the decimals you keep. Four decimals puts the point within about ten metres, enough for any normal use. Trimming to two decimals leaves a margin of more than a kilometre, which defeats the entire reason you were using coordinates.
