WiFi QR code: share your network with a scan

Spelling out your WiFi password letter by letter ("capital M, four, underscore...") is a ritual nobody needs anymore. With a WiFi QR code, guests point their phone camera at it and the system offers to join the network automatically. It works on both iPhone and Android with nothing to install.

This generator builds the code entirely in your browser: your network name and password are never sent to any server. The resulting QR is yours forever: download it as PNG or SVG, print it, and stick it by the entrance, on the counter, or in the guest room. It never expires and doesn't depend on this site staying online.

Your QR code

Start typing and your QR code appears here instantly.

How it works

  1. 1

    Type your network name (SSID)

It must match the name in your WiFi list exactly, including capitalization and spaces.

  2. 2

    Pick the security type

WPA/WPA2 is the standard on any modern router. If your network is open, choose "No password".

  3. 3

    Enter the password

The QR updates instantly as you type. The password is encoded inside the QR itself and never leaves your device.

  4. 4

    Download and print it

PNG for screens and documents, SVG if you're printing it large. Place it where your guests will see it.
